​Riddimdaddy.com was launched in April of 2011 in an effort to promote new Reggae and Reggae influenced music emerging from Jamaica and all parts of the globe. We Also wanted to preserve the rich heritage and history of Reggae music by re-introducing the classics to this generation. Over the years Riddimdaddy.com has evolved to be much more than a music outlet as we
now showcase tropical lifestyles and culture including food, fashion and tech.

RiddimDaddy is looking for bloggers and journalist who have a strong familiarity with Tropical Lifestyles and cultures including the food, fashion and the music emerging from these regions such as Reggae, Soca, Afrobeat, Compa. Also be Knowledgeable of the people who are making an impact within the culture. We need bloggers/journalists who are interested in blogging about food or music or fashion or tech as it relates to tropical cultures.
 
Blogging for Riddimdaddy is fun and easy. Why do we need interns?
We need content and we want to hear the voices and opinions of the people who love and support this culture. We also want to hear and see what’s new and emerging from all parts of the globe as it relates to the culture.

• Do you have your own personal style and opinion?

Sure everybody does, we want you to show your personal style, thoughts and opinions on subjects related to the culture via posts to our website.

• Do you already have your own website or blog? Are you an established or published journalist?

That’s great! We can work with pros too, all credit will be given with links back to your website and social media pages.

• Are you a publicist or PR person trying to get exposure for a brand, artist or event?

Great! Send us the content, if we like it and it aligns with what we post on the site we will publish it.

• Do you like to attend events, network and meet new people?

Some of us do some of us don’t. If you are someone that likes to attend events that’s great you can enjoy those events and blog about your experience on our website. If that’s not your thing its fine.

• Are you an aspiring journalist who wants published credits and you are willing to Contact and interview designers, artists, chefs and people making an impact on the culture?

That’s great! We have a platform, use it to get those stories and have them published. We need content

• Can you send us one post per month?

Your post should consist of a good quality picture and at least 3 sentences, a link to music or a video of whatever your post is about. You send it to us via email and we do the rest. If you copied your post from another website please add in your email the proper credit for the source where you got the content from.

All submitted blog posts must include text and hi-resolution photos. If you did not take the photos yourself, credit must be given to the photographer also if you found the info for your post on another website or media outlet you must reference the source.
