RiddmDaddy was started in 2009 by New York  based Dancehall Reggae artist Donny Yardas. Initially RiddimDaddy was an online blog used to promote dancehall and reggae music being released out of the New York area. The audience grew and requests to be featured on the website started coming from all over the world. RiddimDaddy's success in online marketing and promotion led to many artistes requesting their music to be released via the RiddimDaddy brand, which had led to RiddimDaddy evolving into what it is now, an Indie Record Label bringing tropical music to the mainstream.
