The latest X Factor rumor is that chart-topper Rihanna will guest judge on the show’s inaugural U.S. season. According to TMZ, the singer enjoyed her U.K. X Factor finale performance so much, that she and series creator/star Simon Cowell wants seconds. It helps that Rihanna is also signed to Island Def Jam, the Universal Music Group label that X Factor judge L.A. Reid ran from 2004 until March of this year. Rihanna’s reps won’t confirm a booking, but in speaking withThe Hollywood Reporter for an August cover story, Cowell emphasized that Reid is “expected to bring in stars." Rihanna has become the latest in a long line of celebrities to fall victim to sex tape rumors. But after adult entertainment company Hustler told Radar Online that it had obtained video of the "Man Down" singer and rapper J. Cole, both artists tweeted denials of the tape's existence. "We don't believe U, U need more people...AND of course an actual sextape! #slownewsday," Rihanna posted on Wednesday night. Cole, who opened for Rihanna's Loud tour, also used his Twitter to react to the report, writing early Thursday morning (August 25), "Gossip Gossip, n---a just stop it." The denials came after a rep for Hustler delivered a statement to Radar, saying, "Hustler [is] in possession of the Rihanna and J. Cole tape. We have seen it and we do not know what we are going to do with it yet." While Rihanna has spoken out against this latest controversy to befall her, some of those closest to her have opted to focus on other news. "@rihanna #Cheers is gonna go #1 for sure! Just like Only Girl! I'm betting shots of patron in Brazil on it NOW! I drink to dat!" Katy Perry tweeted, referring to Rihanna's latest single, "Cheers," which currently sits at the #17 spot on the Billboard Hot 100. source: mtv.com you may also like : |
